Our New Take-Away Dishes for Doggies to Support Charity, Sunday Morning ‘Breakfast Box’ & Matching Your Donations to Foodbank
Although we’ve had to close our doors to those dining with us at present – we’re offering our full menu on a take-away basis (for collection or delivery) and just added two new doggy dishes for our four-legged friends – to help raise funds for the Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home. We’re also collecting items donated by all our take-away customers and matching these donations for the East Lothian Foodbank. And for those of you in need of full fry up – we’ve launched our new Sunday morning ‘Breakfast Box’!
On the food for fido front – there’s two new dishes available, when you order from the take-away menu with a choice of tasty homemade chicken or beef stew for £7.50. And to wash it down, there’s also ‘Snuffles’ dog beer available for £3 per bottle! All profits will go to the Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home, to help support their vital work at this particularly challenging time.
We’ve also launched our ‘Breakfast Box’ for those of you who fancy a fry up – all prepared and available for collection every Sunday morning between 9am and 11:15am. This top quality, tasty breakfast is a real feast and comprises; bacon, free range eggs, Lorne sausages, Stornoway black pudding, link sausages, hash browns, potato scones, beans and two buttered rolls. Priced at £15 – these are generous portion sizes, sufficient for two adults. Simply order by 9pm the night before.
The owner, Graham Blaikie said: “After closing our doors to diners on 9th October, our take-away service is back on the menu for our customers! We just want to keep on trading to the best of our ability in order to keep our business ticking over and retain our staff through these tough times. We also still really want to make a difference to local charities – and as we’ve not been able to hold any of our doggy events since lockdown started, we wanted to help support the Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home through this initiative.
“Our aim will be to donate around £5 per doggy dish to the charity. And with our take-away service – customers can leave donations for the foodbank on their doorstep and when we deliver their take-away, we’ll collect these and match any donations made, to help those most in need.”
