We Scoop Another Award!

Our independent, family run bar and restaurant, has added another award win to our portfolio by scooping the ‘Commitment to Student and Graduate Engagement’ award from the Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce (MELCC).

The awards ceremony, held at the Brunton Theatre in Musselburgh, received a great turnout with over 300 guests from local businesses – all members of the MELCC.  We beat off two other finalists, Edinburgh College and the Mortgage Advice Bureau Network Partner Scotland.

“It was fantastic to be recognised for the initiatives we’ve invested in to help students and graduates.  It’s vital to support students (whether at school, college, university – or post grads) with real industry experience.  The right training in these early years is key to creating successful operators in the future and all businesses need to play their part in this educating process.”
